I’m grateful for a really nice Valentine’s Day adventure with Bill! We went to Darana Dragway in Milan, MI for the Snow Drags and enjoyed watching the snowmobiles, quads and side by sides race, even though the turnout was low. Mother Nature really did not cooperate, so that was a bummer. Nice weather, sunny and 40s, but that’s not what we needed for this event. Hopefully they do it again and the weather cooperates.
We then went to lunch at the Brass Monkey, then drove the back roads looking for a house I first looked at when I was in the home buying market 23 years ago. It was nice just driving around the rural area on dirt roads, though once we got back home, my car looked like I was racing in the mud at the Dragway!
Our last stop was Dairy Queen where Bill enjoyed his favorite, a chocolate sundae and I was finally able to indulge in a red velvet cake Blizzard! I’d went for one a few years back but they were out. It was delish!
