Good Morning! Happy Saturday! Come on in and get comfy. How was your week?
Today is supposed to be 65 degrees! I’m sure the leaf blowers and lawn mowers will be hustling today as we all scramble to get our leaves picked up. It will drop into the 40s for the rest of the week. Hopefully the rain stays away as periods of rain are also in the forecast. I’ve made my weekend To Do list in my trusty Rocketbook and hopefully can wipe off a good number of tasks. We have lots of leaves to pick up and I need to cut down my wildflower garden.
I’m one of those people who finds joy in decorating for Fall and Thanksgiving. Many people go right from Halloween to Christmas, like my neighbor who is holding on until the last minute.. LOL This photo was taken this past week.

Wednesday night I drove out to Ann Arbor for a meet and greet at the Crazy Wisdom bookstore. Main St. was all lit up and the store itself is gorgeous! I don’t know Ann Arbor too well as the traffic and parking situation was always something I wanted to avoid. But, I found my way there and now I know where the store is and where to park, so next time I won’t be so anxious.
I also got out this week during lunch and loaded up some books into one of our Little Free Libraries. I’ve found some good ones in several of these libraries and I was happy to give back.. Otherwise, I donate books to our local library for their book sales.

I hate to cut this short but it’s 12:20pm and would you believe it’s already getting dark? I love and hate this time of year. I need to be going if I’m going to get a fraction of my list done.
Thank you Natalie for hosting our Weekend Coffee Share! I’ll be around shortly to see what’s going on in your worlds.

It is currently 73* here and I’ve been stacking firewood for the past 1.5 hours. I’m a sweaty mess 😉 Wild autumn, indeed! I hope you are able to tackle your list this weekend and get some R&R in, too!
That sounds LOVELY. Ah to have 73 degrees here again. I cut down my wildflower garden and took out two saplings that I think will make great besoms! (they were Tree of Heaven, invasive and also attractive to the spotted lanternfly, something we DON’T want here.)
The bookstore looks lovely. It’s nice to see decorative lights as it gets dark so early now. Thank you for your weekend coffee share.
The Little Free Library houses are so cute! AND what a good idea.
I was so happy to find them! Bookcrossing.com is another neat idea!
I love those little free libraries! We have one at the park in our sub. It is stuffed full of mostly children’s books, while the little library at the gas station on the corner has only a few books in it. I’m going to head that way to add to the selections later this week.
I love to look through them and I’ve found some interesting titles!
