Good Morning on this breezy September Saturday! There is a chill in the air but I’m told we’re headed for a warm up, probably the last one. I haven’t closed the pool yet, so I may just take one last dip as I’m draining and cleaning it.
I hate saying goodbye to summer but I also love Fall. Last night we had a fire and enjoyed the crickets and the wind through the trees. I love to have fires on full moon nights so I’ll light it up again on Sunday.

Fall season means Halloween shopping, one of my favorite sports. If you have a Michael’s craft store near you, their Halloween decor is 40% off! (Not an affiliate link, just convenient for you non-locals. :-)) I finally joined the 50 gallon tumbler club and no, it’s not a Stanley, but I could not resist the black cat tumbler. On sale.

Then I found this spooky wreath and witch’s hand wreath hanger!

Lastly – and this will probably stay up year round.. I loved this book and movie. This is also one of my favorite quotes when angry storm clouds are on the horizon.

Yesterday, I found the Sylvan Coven Witches Paddle, hosting by Luna Moon SUP Yoga! Haha! I’ve seen pics of these in the past and they look so fun! I’ll REALLY be motivated not to fall in, high of 74 on September 19th. I’m really looking forward to this.. I thought Tatianna’s first trip out this year was her last.

On the garden front, I still have tomatoes and peppers coming in, and I plan to make my Hungarian Lecso this year with my own harvest! I also have to figure out what to do with my pots, I have mint, oregano and lemon grass. The mint and oregano are in pots because they spread, and the lemon grass is sensitive to cold, so I put it in a pot thinking I could bring it in. I’ll have to determine if I can bring them all in over the winter but I’m concerned about the critters they’ll come with. Although Larry, I’m sure, will take care of any wayward insect he finds.
I did have to smile at this Nightmare Before Christmas inspired jalapeno pepper! Even my garden knows me.

Welp, this weekend is pretty full. I have a LIST of things to get done and I’ll be happy if I can check off half of them. How about you? How was your week?
Would you like a warm up?
Thank you, Natalie, for hosting the Weekend Coffee Share!

You’re definitely speaking my language with that Bourbon coffee and all your spooky decorations! Saying goodbye to summer is always a bit bittersweet but Autumn is my favorite season by far! That being said, I just might *have to pay a visit to Michael’s…thanks for the prod! Hope you have a great weekend and week ahead!
Yay, hope you find some cool stuff! Halloween is my season.. A bit of my decor stays up year round! Thank you for stopping by!
The paddle event on the 19th looks fun! Thank you for your weekend coffee share.
I’m really looking forward to it and hope I don’t fall in!
Halloween is close! I am a little sad this year because I do not have any pumpkins in my garden, they all died in June when we had a cold snap.. Speaking of fall, it is still very warm here, but the trees are turning colour, so in some ways it is coming. I like fall a lot, with the cooler weather and less mosquitos! Thank you for the coffee!
Oh no! I have not yet tried pumpkins. I actually did try to start some “volunteers” by putting last years seeds into my wildflower garden.. I don’t see that anything germinated though. I love Fall.. I so look forward to colorful hikes.. Thank you for coming by for coffee!
