Good Morning, almost afternoon on this snowy, cold Saturday in Metro Detroit. At least the sun is out. Contrary to last week’s Early Saturday, today is a Late one. I figured I needed the sleep.
How are you? This week had it’s challenges with my internet going out a few times and having to hotspot during the work week. Now it’s acting up again as I try to find some background music on YouTube as I write this post. First world problems, I know.
I attended the meet and greet last week for the Monroe Midnight Riders and decided to join! Practice was a ton of fun, great exercise and all the performances are fundraisers to help those in need. September and October weekends will be full but with events I wanted to attend anyway, so it sounds like a win/win. I need to put together a costume, so that will be fun, but probably a bit challenging as I’m not very creative.
We receive a surprise snowstorm on Wednesday that I was forced to drive in, so that was not fun. The forecast for my area was a coating to an inch, and we received about 5 inches of snow. Gotta love Michigan. The snow also hit northern Michigan which is great new for the snowmobile trails. Hopefully we will have more trips this season.
My order from Conscious Ink arrived today. They are inspirational temporary tattoos. I don’t have any real tattoos. I like them, I could just never commit to something on me, permanently. And it’s nice to change them out.
Today I will apply Now Would Be Good. I take it as a reminder to stop putting things off and procrastinating, also that life is short and we’re not getting any younger. I continue to use the journal my sister sent me, in efforts to plan my time and check things off my lists.
Welp, I need to go reboot this router that is driving me crazy. I look forward to hearing about your week!

It wouldn’t let me comment on today’s gratitude post, but I have to say it sounds horrible with the water turning to ice. I hope your house did not get damaged in any way.
