Our first snowmobile trip of the season is booked and we’re super excited! This will be our first time snowmobiling in the UP, first time over the Mighty Mac with the sled trailer, and first time sledding with friends of ours from Iowas, who we met in Sturgis. Tonight Bill surprised me with the latest copy of SnowGoer, which featured an article on Munising, where we’ll be riding and staying.
There are several things to do to prepare for our first trip out in several years, but we’ve already fired up both sleds, so we know there shouldn’t be any starting problems. Hoping for good weather and an uneventful weekend!
The above photo was taken back in 2009 along an abandoned rail system turned snowmobile trail, just south of Beulah, Michigan. The conditions were fantastic and I hope we are just as lucky.

Not too difficult.. There are safety precautions you need to know, like when approaching oncoming sleds, and such. I’m just into simple trail riding, I don’t do stunts.. LOL
I haven’t been snowmobiling in years! So much fun.
