Hello! I am joining my dear blogger friend Maria in posting daily gratitude. Join us if you wish – it can be anything you acknowledge – a moment, a view, a thought, something more tangible, anything. Post a word, a paragraph, or a photo, and tag your posts #DailyGratitudePractice2026.

Today I am grateful for this time block planner, a surprise gift from my awesome sister! It aligns perfectly with my weekend habits – make a list of EVERYTHING to be done, then prioritize. It has a daily planner where you can block out time for each task, and also a yearly planner and habit tracker as well. I love it because it will also help me to capture what is going on for my weekly and monthly blog posts. I love the idea of filling a book and having something to look back on.
What are you grateful for today?

I have never seen something like this. I do have a list that I check for each day. I sometimes have it on my phone, but for important things I have it in a physical calendar. I like purchasing one beautiful calendar each school year. I always buy it the last week of my summer vacation, and fill it up with the things I look forward to the upcoming school year. If needed I plan more fun things, little adventures to look forward to, that I add to the calendar. That way it is easier to start working when the vacation is over. Some years I mark the special days with stickers, photos and/or drawings, so that they stand out and are easily noticed when I need to push myself a little extra.
I love that idea! It helps so much to have something to look forward to.
