reading

Recap Thursday is where I force myself on a weekly basis to read and share 5 of the gazillion links I accumulate from Facebook and Twitter. 🙂  Hopefully I can whittle down the list before anything becomes obsolete.

=================================================================================

Getting Started in Food Photography –  good info here. I do a good bit of food photography, especially during the winter months.

Downside of Success (and How to Deal With It!) – things to think about as we grow in what we do!

Getting the Correct Exposure at Night – This inspired me to get out and do more long exposure night photography, even just out in my yard.  It’s been a while since I’ve shot star trails, and I may have some wildflowers I could shoot in the moonlight.

How to Talk to Pretty Much Anyone About Pretty Much Anything – I love good conversation, but as an introvert I hate small talk!  This article gave some good info on what questions to arm yourself with in several scenarios.

On the Heartbreaking Difficulty of Getting Rid of Books – I was so excited to hear my local library takes book donations, only to not be able to part with any! Still working on that. There are some other resources here, too.
