#DSFWeeklyRewind: Moondance

Tonight’s Supermoon reminded me of one of my Van Morrison faves, as full moons often do. I went out and practiced again, trying to capture the detail of the moon’s surface and also the glow around it. Probably a job for HDR.

So! It’s the Rewind! (In the voice of Arthur Penhallow from WRIF) How was your week? Mine went too fast, but at the same time I’m dying for it to be February, so that I can have my hip done. It will be SO nice to once again be as active as I used to be.

The year is winding down and and I’ll be SOOOO glad when these projects are in the books. It’s been a good year, although challenging. When I think back to January 2017 and think of all the experience and things I’ve learned, I feel that I’ve made some headway.

We celebrated Bill’s birthday on Friday, and I baked him a dark chocolate bundt cake, that looked more like a large donut.

Tasted good though. Pretty bummed though that the birthday gift I’d planned is on backorder, so I guess we’ll get to celebrate again next week when it arrives. .

Saturday night we took in a pretty good Netflix movie, Be Afraid. It was better than I expected. Right now we’re watching Schitt’s Creek. God I love Eugene Levy! LOL

I’m glad Bill enjoyed his birthday and liked his other stuff that I found. We had a good weekend, sunny, in the 50s and put up more Christmas lights. Life is good.

“And all the night’s magic seems to whisper and hush.. And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush..” -Van Morrison

I don’t know that song, so I’ll have to check it out! Happy Birthday, Bill! Cake looks good to me. 🙂 Sorry you have to wait so long for your hip. I know you miss doing stuff. Much like I miss bending my wrist… working on it. … a few more weeks? ….

Thanks for participating in the Rewind again this week! Always happy to see you. 🙂
